The assignment of the month from the Grimsby Photo Group was to take shots of "running".   For this photo I needed get down low to capture "Lily" retrieving her favourite ball. The snow being kicked up gives proof of the action in the shot. A higher resolution version of this photo may be seen in the Nature Gallery at fourlens.ca 

Every month the Grimsby Photo Group has a photography assignment for its members.  In this past January, the assignment was to take macro shots.   The four snowflakes in this photo were among hundreds that I shot using the Camera+ 2 app and a clip on macro lens on my iPhone.  This photo - and others taken that day - may be seen in the Special Effects Gallery at fourlens.ca

  Fourlens Photo Galleries was launched in 2020 as a place where we could share our favourite photos.  All photos in the site are available for sale in a number of downloadable and printed formats.  Why "four lens"?  Many of the photos were taken using an iPhone, the most recent of which has three forward facing and one rear facing lens.  The gallery logo is intended to be a characterization of the four iPhone lenses. We truly hope that you enjoy the photos that we have published in the many collections of the gallery.  In this blog we will tell you the stories behind some of the photos in the gallery.
