 This past spring I took advantage of the trees not yet grown back to visit an old truck in the forest.  These photos are impossible at other times of the year when the forest is thick. Location is Honey Harbour, Ontario.

 This tree at Bayfront Park in Hamilton, Ontario points directly to the sun. (Well not always, but definitely from this angle!)

  This young lad has a nice perch to view the bay (Hamilton Harbour) on a sunny day.  Original photo was edited with the Prisma app to give a more painterly-type look.

Here are a pair of swan's with a nest full of swan eggs at Hamilton Ontario's Bayfront Park.  With the small waves in the area it is an ongoing job to keep repairing the nest.

  I love the piercing eyes that this baby has.  With her head wrapped as it is, the photo reminds me of the famous "Afghan Girl" portrait taken in 1984 by photographer Steve McCurry.  It's all in the eyes!

  Yesterday evening was a light paint outing with the Grimsby Photo Group and it was a tremendous amount of fun!  The team performing the light show was  #ScottSimons , #ChrisEmpey and Mary. It was the most fun I have ever had taking photos. I look forward to doing this type of photography again!

 After posting 365 photos on this blog in 365 days, I took some time off to work on new material.  Here is a new shot of a lovely puppy taken while on a walk by Lake Ontario. The background blur is from portrait mode on the iPhone.
