Yesterday I posted a Midjourney AI image of a futuristic building.  Today we go back into time to see immigrants disembarking from a ship after coming across the Atlantic from Europe.  Why?  Because I was a young lad arriving from England (many decades ago) and I do not have a photo record of the event.  So I asked Midjourney to produce a likeness for me.  I'm thinking of doing the same with other important points in my life.  I love the ability to go to a different place in a different time and see what it may have looked like.  

Here is a change from the people and animal pictures that I have been posting.   Midjourney AI is capable of generating some interesting architecture images.  Here is a first attempt at a futuristic building design.

Here is another very detailed animal picture, produced at my request by Midjourney.  The AI engine produces a number of possible responses to your request prompt, but I liked this one best as the little fellow on the right is looking somewhere else.

I'm fascinated how the Midjourney AI engine produces such detailed images of animals.  Friends were visiting last Saturday night and they mentioned the Corgi that they used to have.  I asked Midjourney to produce an image of a Corgi and here you have it.

In keeping with the sports action shots from yesterday, here is a Midjourney AI picture of a baseball player sliding in to home.

Capturing action shots with my iPhone can be tricky.  So I thought I would try to generate some action shots using the Midjourney AI engine.  Here is a creation of a female barrel racer at a rodeo.  I like the action!

I wanted to see how the Midjourney AI engine would produce an Arizona sunset.  Overall, I think it did a pretty good job, though I think the oversaturated colours take away from a nice picture.   Arizona sunsets with clouds in the sky can surely be spectacular but the colours in this rendering don't do it for me.  

  Sitting with my hockey-playing grandson, we decided to ask the Midjourney AI engine to give us a photo of a 10 year old boy in a black jersey scoring a goal.  This is what Midjourney produced.

Batten down the hatches!!  Here is an AI rendering of a four mast sailing ship in rough seas.  With the Midjourney AI engine, you can have it create any image that you can imagine and request.  

Colourful enough for you?  I wanted to see what kind of shoe Midjourney would create if I asked for colourful running shoes.  Here's what the AI engine produced.

One of the fun things about playing with AI is that I can change my location and my timeframe.  As an example, I asked the AI engine to show me Paris, France on a rainy night in 1900.  This is what it rendered.

I do enjoy creating AI "photos" a.k.a. art using Midjourney.  Here is an AI-generated black and white image of a desert landscape.  

I took a photo taken originally at Cape Spear, Newfoundland and put it through a "sky replacement" in Luminar Neo before adding a light using LensLight app on the iPad.

I took this photo last week in Port Dover, Ontario and used the MirrorArt app on my iPhone to make it a bit more interesting.  The summer photo project for the Grimsby Photo Group has been "Hot Fun in the Summertime" and I need to select two to submit.  This may be one of my two.
