While I don't like the way Midjourney struggles sometimes with human forms (fingers, hands, arms, ears), I think it does great artwork rendering of animals. I'm not a cat lover, but .... here's a Christmas kitty for the cat lovers out there!
This nativity scene in stained glass took some effort to cleanup. It seems that Midjourney still has challenges with rendering appropriate human hands. Both of Mary's hands needed correction from the original options produced by the AI engine.
Here is another style of art that the Midjourney AI is capable of producing: origami. Like most of the other images in this blog, it took some effort to get Midjourney to produce what I wanted. For one annoying thing, it kept putting reindeer 'in' the sleigh instead of in front!
Learning how to produce AI-generated artwork involves also learning about various art forms. Midjourney has no problem giving you the type of style that you want, but who knew there were so many options to consider. This Christmas-themed rendering is a collage of paper art.
Here is an AI-generated view of a cozy room decorated for Christmas with fire aglow. Midjourney AI does a great job of photorealism on internal home scenes like this. It is much more complex to get the image right when you add human figures or in some outdoor scenes.
I wanted to see if Midjourney AI knew what Santa was up to so asked for a few renderings. In these images, Santa is checking his list and delivering presents. It is a busy time for this fellow!
Here is a Christmas magic image of a three year old, as generated by AI. It took some work to correct the hands and the shape of the head from the original Midjourney rendering.
I'm still learning my way through art and style terminology as I gain more experience with Midjourney AI image generation. This tree is in the style of art deco isometric. I have much to learn!
This is my first shot at creating a "moodboard" using Midjourney. Specifying you want a moodboard with a Christmas theme, and then suggesting specific colours is all that Midjourney needs to render a lovely image.
When I used to travel on business I would always return home from a new location with a snow globe for my children. They had quite a collection. So I asked Midjourney to render me a Christmas snow globe. I can't say I have ever seen a snow globe that large and am sure I wouldn't have been able to fit such a globe in my suitcase!
Keeping with the Christmas theme, here is another AI-generated image. In this one I asked for bright, coloured lighting on the outside of the house and Midjourney AI rendered this artwork.
