This fellow was trying to have a nap but the photo safari vehicle kept pulling up beside him. So he decided to pull this threatening pose in hopes he could scare away the tourists and get back to his afternoon nap.
Yesterday evening's sunset gave us a stunning orange sky. Of the many photos I took with my iPhone, this lone palm tree is one of my favourites. Absolutely no editing has been done to the photo. The sunset was that spectacular!
Whilst wandering the engine room on the HMCS Haida, I spotted this Engine Order Telegraph. Also known as the E.O.T. or Chadburn, this is a communications device that enables the ship's pilot to order engineers in the engine room to power the vessel at a certain desired speed. Always curious to see what the Prisma app can do with my photos, I ran the original photo through Prisma on my iPad and selected this version from the ones I created in the app.
In keeping with the minimalist images I posted yesterday, I decided to have a go with my iPhone. This one had three challenges: 1. cutting the construction paper at the right angle to give a 3D illusion, 2. getting the egg to stay standing long enough to take the photo, 3. positioning a light source to get the shadow in the right spot. Photo was taken in Apple RAW with iPhone 14 Pro Max and edited slightly in Luminar NEO to remove blemishes.
